A Bit About Sugar Quartz

A Bit About Sugar Quartz

History & Science

Sugar Quartz is the name given to clear quartz geodes due to their tiny crystal structures that resemble sparkling sugar. These naturally-occurring formations can resemble miniature crystal caves, as they are formed when silica-rich water fills the air bubbles in sedementary and metamorphic rocks. After the water evaporates, the minerals are left behind and over time form pockets of crystalline structures.

Metaphysical Properties

Sugar Quartz is an experience, a return to the child-like wonder of peering into a magical, glittery fairy cave. This connection to one's inner child is grounding, but even more than that, it's a reminder that magic exists. As they are made of miniature quartz structures, they also carry the amplification properties of quartz and are excellent for use in meditation.
