Angelite Pendulums with Peach Moonstone

Angelite, also known as Blue Anhydrite, is a light blue to almost lilac colored stone, often with white and red iron inclusions, that was discovered in the late 80s in Peru. The name "Anhydrite" comes from the Greek "anhydros" meaning, "without water," to seperate it from its cousin, Gypsum, due to the occurrence or absence of water.

Peach Moonstone is a variety of Moonstone found in Madagascar and India. Moonstone is in the feldspar group and is related to labradorite in its flash that shows up when the stone is viewed from different angles. In Moonstone, however, this phenomena is called adularescence, an effect caused by light diffracting through alternating layers of orthoclast and albite within the stone.
Peach Moonstone was revered by ancient Indian cultures as a "Stone of Happiness" and was often given as a gift to celebrate new beginnings and important milestones.
