Arizona Rainbow Petrified Wood - Medium Pieces

Over 200 million years ago, this tree was washed away by an ancient river and then buried in sediment containing volcanic ash. This formed a hard cast around the branch, and once the organic material decayed, the cast was filled with minerals, allowing the insides to turn to agate. The cast left behind was so highly detailed that from the outside of many pieces, you can barely tell it's actually petrified! It is truly a work of art made by nature!

Petrified wood has a soothing and calm energy that helps firmly root us in reality. It teaches patience and wisdom in transformation, bringing peace and serenity.
Even moreso than other fossils, Petrified Wood is a source of patient wisdom, as well. Trees have a longer lifespan than other living creatures, gathering rings every year. Between the rings of petrified wood, you can find all the wisdom of a long life as well as that of the thousands to millions of transformative years it took to become the stone it is today.
