Citrine Magic Sacks

Citrine is a yellow-hued variety of Quartz, the color coming from natural inclusions of iron or aluminum. The word "citrine" is derived from the Latin "citrin," which means "yellow." (This is not to be confused with the word "citrus" which actually has Latin by way of Greek etymology, coming from an ancient Greek term for conifer trees.)
Most of the citrine found on the market today is heat treated amethyst, dyed quartz, or even glass, so although that is the picture we have of citrine, these beautiful smokey points are what it looks like when it is found naturally. These points were found in Lwena, D.R.Congo, which produces much of the most beautiful natural citrine found today. Because of conflict in the region as well as the remote areas where the mines are found, it is much easier to find small points like these than it is to find the towering Citrine sculptures that DRC is known for!

Citrine is a stone of vitality and optimism, relating closely to the Sun. It promotes motivation toward positive action, activates creativity, and encourages self-expression. In addition, it is called the "Merchant's Stone," as the creative motivation that Citrine inspires tends to bring about prosperity as a result!
In ancient times, it was believed that citrine could make men look more handsome and make women feel happier, in addition to bringing wealth. It seems, though, that both of these are a side effect of the optimism and confidence that Citrine truly brings. Citrine manifests wonderful things because its influence says that you can accomplish great things and are worthy of every success that comes your way!
