Clear Quartz Pyramid Carvings

Clear Quartz:
Clear quartz has a history as old as time. Ancient Greeks called the water-clear stones "krystallos" which is where we eventually got the term "crystal". The word "quartz," however, is an old German word of uncertain origin that we can trace as far back as 1530.
In present times, besides being a beautiful part of any crystal lover's collection, quartz is important. Tiny pieces of "quartz sand" are used in the production of industrial and residential glass as well as in developing fiber optics and laboratory vessels.
Pyramids:
By definition, a pyramid is a 3-D shape made of three main parts - apex, face, and base. This can be a monumental structure such as the famous pyramids of ancient Egypt, or it can be as small as these mini carvings.
Throughout much of our known history, pyramids have captured the imagination of architects, historians, and even astronomers. Although the Egyptian pyramids are the most well-known, pyramid-shaped structures have been found throughout much of the world, such as the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon found in Teotihuacán Mexico, which are large enough to rival the pyramid of Giza.

Clear Quartz:
Clear quartz is known as the "master healer" stone, amplifying energy as well as the effects of other crystals, making it useful for manifestation, meditation, and channeling. Science has only recently caught up with this fact, as it is now used in everything from fiber optics to the cell phone in your hand!
Its clear surface enhances mental clarity, clearing the emotional and spiritual clutter, and returning the mind, body, and spirit to a state as crystal clear as the stone itself.
Pyramids:
Much of what we know about the metaphysical properties of the pyramid shape come from Ancient Egypt, but it has been a sacred shape for cultures all around the world. Overwhelmingly, it is believed that the pyramid shape is a powerful conduit for energy from the divine as well as an energy amplifier. The base of the pyramid grounds and calms, the upward moving sides amplify, and the apex (tip) of they pyramid exchanges the energy between oneself and higher realms.

Although we always strive to provide clear, accurate images of our crystals and other products, we photograph under professional lighting, which is meant to mimic sunlight. If you get your crystal and think it looks a little different under low or artificial light, try checking it out again in sunlight!
