Rutilated Royalty Statement Necklace

Rutilated quartz is a variety of quartz which contains acicular (needle-like) inclusions of rutile. In the case of this pendant, these inclusions are gold, but they can also be seen in silver, black, or even copper red. Unlike most inclusions within quartz, these beautiful rutilations actually increase the value of the quartz significantly!

Labradorite is a feldspar mineral, most often found in igneous rocks such as basalt, gabbro, and norite. Feldspars are the earth's most abundant mineral, making up over 50% of the earth's crust! However, Labradorite is special due to its color play, the iridescent blues, greens, golds, and sometimes purples or reds that show up as it is viewed from different angles. Labradorite is so well-known for this that the effect is called "labradorescence." Labradorescence is produced when light enters a rock and reflects from the planes within. As the light is reflected back and forth within the rock it is dispersed, causing the many different colors that Labradorite is known for.

The "crown jewels" of this necklace are rutilated quartz and labradorite.
Rutilated Quartz is a stone which, like clear quartz, amplifies the effects of other powerful stones, while also bringing extra elements of joy and transformation as well as spiritual illumination with its beautiful gold rutiles.
Because of its colorful iridescence, labradorite is said to be highly mystical with many metaphysical properties. At its base, labradorite is a stone of transformation, both spiritual and emotional. It cuts through any illusions or irrationality, and what is left is inner calm, direction, creativity, intuition, wisdom, and an energized imagination.

In addition to these larger elements, this necklace features apatite, a powerful stone of manifestation, pyrite, a stone of prosperity and protection, and lemon quartz, which enhances focus and reasoning.

Altogether, this necklace is giving Empress vibes, sitting together with the High Priestess, an awakening of both sides of a powerful, rich Divine Feminine coin.
